The Delivery Partners and Volunteers Team for London are looking for an organised and enthusiastic candidate to become our new Youth Development Lead.
You will provide quality support to volunteers and young people across the south. The role is suited to you if you enjoy working with people and building strong relationships.
Volunteers are very important to us and in this role you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new volunteers. Holding a firm understanding of Prince’s Trust programmes, you will effectively manage the provision of volunteers according to service delivery needs. Delivering excellent support, you will ensure quality volunteering experiences are had at the Prince’s Trust. You will support and deliver volunteer training; you will work with volunteers virtually and face-to-face. The role will involve organising and managing events for partners and volunteers, again in virtual and face-to-face capacities.
As a Youth Development Lead, you will work with young people, volunteers and partners to support and encourage 16-30-year olds into sustained health and social care roles. Working as part of a regional team, you will work with clear objectives to ‘connect’, ‘progress’ and help ‘transform’ the lives of young people who need us most.
To support our delivery requirements across England we are particularly interested in receiving applications from individuals who have an understanding of the Health & Social Care sector, experience working with data, experience of working with young adults, ability to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience, and A strong understanding of the challenges young people from within The Trust’s target groups might face.
