Job Description

We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this exciting journey, we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our dynamic teams to work with young people either directly through 1-to-1 work, delivery of programmes or indirectly through our partners and volunteers. 

We have a Youth Development Lead role available in our Delivery Team on a fixed-term basis until March 2023, based in our Belfast office. The Prince's Trust operates a hybrid model of office and home working.

As part of the Delivery Team, the Youth Development Lead's have a broad focus, working in important areas such as Education (in partnerships with schools), Employment, Enterprise and Personal Development. We encourage cross-working across teams and focus areas. As a Youth Development Lead, you must ensure that every young person we engage, progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning and development and one to one support. You will demonstrate best practice in how we work with young people in a safe way, to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

To be successful in the role of Youth Development Lead, you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation. Due to the pandemic and ways of working you must be comfortable both working virtually and communicating on virtual platforms.
