Are you a technical solutions expert? Could you ensure our customer facing web systems and marketing systems are well integrated, robust, scalable and secure? If so, you could be the Technical Solutions Architect we need!

Job Description

Working within our Design and Implementation team you’ll review, develop and design technical solutions for Business as Usual (BAU) and Line of Business (LoB) systems and services, within Cloud and on-premises provisions.
You’ll create design documentation for technical solutions (HLD/ LLDs), and ensure the architecture is fit-for-purpose, de-coupled and suitable within the current and planned technology stacks. You will ensure technology aligns to and governance follows the Enterprise strategy, vision and principles.

About you

With a degree in a technology, computing or related discipline or significant relevant industry experience you'll be an expert user of Microsoft stack, from on-premises to Cloud PaaS/IaaS. 

You’ll have in-depth experience of best practice in enterprise integration, Web/API development, content management and scalability, as well as good web platform experience, including awareness of the latest techniques, standards and best practices. 

As well as expert knowledge in web platform technology you'll also have the following:

  •  An understanding of networking from Cloud to WAN and LAN including routing, segmentation, VPNs and QoS.• Experience of implementations of VMware environments, working with VMWare Verified Design (VVD) and VSAN.
  •  Firewalling (Cisco), including IPS, ACLs, NAT and remote access VPN solutions.
  •  Experience working within both PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.

You’ll be able to work with staff at all levels up to and including senior management and have excellent communication skills, able to liaise and work with non-technical people in a clear manner and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Working arrangements

This is a dual location role, with your working time split between your home and approximately 1-2 days per week in our London office, depending on project requirements and delivery team activities. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working.
