This is the perfect role for a support worker wanting day time hours Monday - Friday, and you will be expected to work alternate weekends.
At our Residential home we support 6 individuals with dual sensory impairments.
As a Support Worker, will be expected to complete personal care as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing both within their own home and in the local community. You must hold a full UK license and must be willing / able to drive our vehicle.
The Town Centre is a 20-minute walk/ 5 minutes drive away as well many different attractions nearby. The inidividuals enjoy going for picnics in the park, shopping, go to the cinemas, visiting the library, museum and an art gallery. We also have a large garden in our home which is accessible to all individuals.
We value ourselves on delivering a high-quality person-centred service and we are looking for applicants that are able to share those values, are enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative.
There will be an opportunities to develop and use a range of communication methods.
The shift patterns at this service are as follows: 7:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-10:00pm.
