Job Description

We're on the lookout for motivated, caring and enthusiastic colleagues to join our teams in Garthdee and Kincorth. Our relief contracts really give you flexibility, you tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit in. 

The Role

As a relief colleague, you'll play an incredibly important role within our team.  You'll help us to make sure that we continue to give the best care and support possible during times of colleague holidays, training and absence.

As a Support Worker, you will be looking after the day to day personal needs of the people we support on a 1:1 basis. You will provide practical and emotional support within individuals own home and support while out in the community.  By taking a person-centred approach, you will get to know them as individuals, encourage their independence and help them recognize their potential.

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need including an opportunity to complete your SVQ qualification too.

Shift Patterns

Our services provide round the clock care and shift patterns include mornings, afternoons and evenings along with the opportunity to pick up sleepovers and waking night shifts.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
