Job Description

Looking for a rewarding part-time job where you can make a difference in the lives of others every day?  We're looking for new *female colleagues to join our amazing #TeamDundee on a permanent part-time (16 hours per week) and relief basis.  So, if you're caring and patient with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour, you could be just who we're looking for!  

The Role

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.   Your main aim will be to provide support to the individuals we support in either our Springhill or Blackwood services.  You will assist in all aspects of their daily lives,  including finances, cooking, shopping, housework & personal care.  You'll also get involved in supporting them with hobbies and interests too, some of which include going for walks, days trips, dominoes, arts & crafts, boccia, going to the cinema and eating out.
About You

Don't have experience, don't worry, here at Cornerstone we recruit on values and transferrable skills. It's not about what experience and qualifications you have, we're interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need.  We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too.

Shift Patterns

As we are dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, we will need you to be flexible as shift patterns for our services will include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays.

Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours.  You will receive an additional payment of £84 for every sleepover shift that you work!
