Based in Bishopbriggs, our fabulous #TeamColtpark is recruiting now for a caring and positive individual with a can do attitude to join them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent basis.
You will be joining a dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to individuals with learning disabilities and other complex support needs
You'll play a crucial role in supporting these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, meal preparation, administering medication and the management of personal finances. You will support them to do the things they want to do out in the community and accompany them on any outings, including when attending health appointments. You will take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care and be supportive and encourage the people we support to express their views and wishes. Our aim is to enable the people we support to live a fulfilling and valued life, where they can achieve their own personal goals and aspirations.
We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ.

Shift Patterns
Our friendly team provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our shift patterns are 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm with a sleepover shift 10am until 10am the following day.
Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of between £80 per night, depending on the needs of the service.
