Our client, a well-respected multi-academy trust focused on the primary education sector, is looking for an experienced HR adviser to join an expanding HR team. Hybrid role flexible within Devon area.

Job Description

Whether you have an education sector background or bring transferable experience from a different sector, we are keen to hear from you if you are looking for an impactful Senior HR adviser role where you can make a difference.

Working with primary schools across Devon, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly HR Team and provide first line HR support to 600 colleagues across the organisation. Developing relationships across the Trust, you will promote and develop a positive people culture and provide your expertise in management of employee relations and employment law.

To be successful you will need:

  • Effective communication skills: Be a skilled and tactful communicator, able to manage sensitive and challenging conversations with discretion.
  • Previous HR experience in an HR advisory role with knowledge of case management and processes.
  • To see the bigger picture and have a desire to drive improvement for children through your impact on culture and safeguarding
  • A good awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion to work with the schools and to meet the needs of diverse communities
