Job Description

We've got an exciting opportunity for a friendly and engaging individual to join our team as a Self-Directed Support (SDS) Advisor on a part-time (30 hours per week), 1 year fixed term basis.

This is a home based role where you'd be covering the Moray area and shifts would fall within the hours of 0900-1700 hours, Monday to Friday.  We will need you to live within a reasonable commute of the Moray, have access to the internet and mobile phone coverage at your home, however we will supply all of the equipment you'll need to carry out your role.

???????The Role

As an SDS Advisor, you will deliver information, advice and support on the Self-Directed Support options available to recipients and/or their families. You will work closely with social work colleagues.

As part of your role, you'll also visit clients in their own homes, so we will need you to hold a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle to allow you to travel within the local area vehicle.  We do offer travel expenses of 45p per mile. 

What we'll need you to bring: - 

????????????A full driving license and access to your own vehicle
Great verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of others
Confidence in the use of technology, including the ability to use a suite of Microsoft Office programs, and databases
Great organisational and time-management skills
The ability to work sensitively and be respectful of confidentiality
