Look no further as our Scottish Borders relief team are growing, so we're now on the look out for caring and reliable people to join us!

The Role

The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same.   As a member of our relief team, you'll help us to make sure that we can continue to deliver excellent care and support during times of colleague annual leave, training and absence.

You'll help the people we support with all aspects of daily living, including going to appointments, personal care, shopping, cooking, housework and medication.  You'll also find yourselves getting involved in many of their hobbies and interests too, which include going for walks, the cinema, the pub, arts & crafts, baking, day trips and much more!

About You

We’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of others.  We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us.  We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need.  We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too!

???????What we need you to bring: -

Good communication skills
A caring attitude and approach
A positive approach to learning
Confidence in the use of computers

???????Shift Patterns

Our shifts usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0800-2100 hours, 7 days a week (including public holidays).  Our Hawick team also have a sleepover shift as part of their rota.

???????Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £84 for every sleepover you work.

Sound interesting?  What are you waiting for?  Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

???????Have any questions?  Please contact Andrew Will on 07973624121 .

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

???????If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
