Together we will make the day to day the best it can possibly be for both you and the people you will support. You will support individuals with a wide range of in-house activities and community facilities where possible, you will need to come up with ideas and solutions to make the most out of every day.
The people you will support have their own vehicle which you will use to help access activities, so a valid UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential. For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker. Above all we want someone that shares in our values. These are:

The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people you will support are individuals and treated as such. Duties will include some support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support health and wellbeing. The working week is planned around the individuals you support so will require you to work some weekends and sleep ins.
