Sense are looking for a motivated person to join our professional team as a Team Leader (Nights) at our service in Carrickfergus. This is a part time position working 22 hours per week within a residential setting.

Job Description

The Team leader will need to manage the night shift, running of a responsive innovative and high quality service for people with sensory impairments and complex needs.  

You will assist the manager in the running of the service including co-ordinating and supervising the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate willingness to participate in training and development. You will need to communicate in a variety of different methods and be prepared to deal with challenging situations. You will also be expected to work on your own initiative and show patience and understanding.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of motivating others including carrying out supervision meetings.  You will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, monitoring the care provided and identifying and resolving issues arising from the 'day to day' operation.
