Job Description

Our vision and mission have never been more relevant. At Sustrans, we are proud to be custodians of the National Cycle Network, overseeing the delivery of 3200 miles of traffic free paths. Drawing on your passion for sustainable and active travel, you will lead our “Paths for Everyone” programme as we seek to upgrade the network into high quality traffic free routes. Helping us to create places where everyone can travel safely and healthily, and where nobody is excluded.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will build and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including Local Authorities and develop leading expertise in the delivery of cycling & walking networks.

About you
We are looking for creative and innovative individuals with a transport planning/ sustainable transport background.

You will have experience of successfully delivering multiple projects in a competitive environment, managing contractors, setting and being accountable for budgets and drafting successful funding bids.
