The Planning & Environment department within Natural Power is made up of a diverse range of both off and onshore consultants with considerable technical experience and expertise covering both ecology and planning. The Environmental Consultants role sits within our offshore team and is required to carry out work relating to fisheries assessment and fisheries liaison for our high-profile offshore renewable projects.

The Environmental Consultant - Commercial Fisheries will carry out fisheries assessment and liaison with the fishing industry for our offshore renewable projects.
Main essential criteria includes:
- Previous experience of working in fisheries
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with and manage client and colleague relationships
- Demonstrate a solutions focused approach to tasks
- Detail orientated with the ability to provide written reports/documents consistently meeting required standards
- Previous experience of GIS
- Experience of Microsoft office suite particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous project management experience
