We now have a number of unique opportunities for talented engineers to join our team, working with local communities to design and deliver outstanding cycling and walking infrastructure.
We have an exciting ambition to ensure all people live in a city where our streets and public spaces serve everyone. Cities and towns where everyone can live and travel safely and healthily, and where nobody is excluded.
By providing best-practice street design from conception to delivery, you’ll help us in our vision to allow everyone to travel in ways that benefit their health and wellbeing, creating healthier, happier cities that are accessible to all.
What our staff have to say
"I like the fact that we get the opportunity to work on more than just the design aspects - you get the chance to be involved with project management, communities and stakeholders and overseeing construction too.
"A lot of our projects are small so you really can see the progression from start to finish, and the difference that our schemes make to the communities where they are located.
"Finally, engineering at Sustrans is engineering without compromise - I know that without exception, every project I work on will have at its heart the aim to improve places and spaces for everyone."
