Who are we looking for and why work at Natural Power?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced EIA /Planning Consent Project Manager to join our Welsh team and deliver renewable energy projects on time, in budget and to high standard. The role can be either in our Aberystwyth office or home based although please note you will be required to travel to the Aberystwyth office as and when required. Ideally you will have experience of large-scale solar PV or wind projects you will be an effective communicator and will relish having a range of problems to solve at one time. The Planning Team leads on managing renewables projects from initial feasibility, through EIA and planning consent (with a consenting success rate of over 90%) to pre-construction condition discharge. We have around 20 people in the Planning team, based at various locations in Scotland and Wales and who, working closely with colleagues from specialist environmental and engineering disciplines, work on projects incorporating a variety of renewable energy technologies and for a range of clients. We are helping the UK transition to green energy and reduce carbon emissions. We are a growing team that looks to be at the forefront of the industry, adding value to renewables projects and making a difference.

EIA Project Manager will deliver successful planning and EIA co-ordination services to clients both internally and externally to Natural Power, working with and co-ordinating input from technical and environmental specialists across Natural Power and a range of subconsultants and stakeholders. You will have experience of EIA coordination and the UK infrastructure planning processes (ideally in Wales).
