The Assistant Accountant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly accounts preparation and management reporting, quarterly forecast, and annual budget processes for our Irish business, including business partnering with budget holder and leadership team where required and managing the annual statutory reporting cycle. Additionally, the role holder will have ownership of existing global finance processes as part of the month end accounts production process, the scope of which is expected to increase further as opportunities to improve, centralise and automate processes by maximising the functionality of the ERP system are identified and implemented. This role can based in any of our offices in Scotland; Stirling, Glasgow or Castle Douglas and with a combination of home and office working.
If you are PQ Accountant (or with equivalent experience), pro-active and forward thinking, have a drive to review and improve processes and have strong Microsoft Excel skills then this role could be the one for you!
