Ypeople has over 200 staff and volunteers and supports hundreds of people every day in our homelessness, young people’s well-being and out of school care services.

Our staff are a diverse group of talented and knowledgeable people from a wide variety of backgrounds. What brings us together is that we share a commitment and passion for living up to the values of Ypeople and a belief in creating lasting positive change in people’s lives.

Volunteering with Us

There are several ways you can volunteer to be part of the work that we do at Ypeople.

You can get involved with our mentoring services, intandem and Ypeer, if you have had experience of care, or simply understand the important impact a positive role model can have on the life of a young person.

Alternatively, if you would like to help us in our aim to end homelessness, you can volunteer at one of our services across Scotland.

Volunteering for a few hours a week can not only make an incredible difference to the people we support, there are proven benefits for you too. Improving skills, advancing your career, and there are even studies to show the benefit volunteering has on your mental and physical health.
